Panelist Incentives

Panelist Incentives

Overview

Incentives is a great tool to reward panelists for completing a test. For example, panelists are able to accumulate points for completing tests which can later be exchanged for rewards. You are also able to keep track and penalize panelists for not completing a test.   You are able to set the value of the reward at the test level as well as manually adding rewards in the Panelists library.

If you wish to display panelist points on your panelist website, please contact Compusense Support Team for assistance.

Incentive Types

There are three types of incentives:
  1. Points : Points are awarded to and collected by panelists to provide incentive for completing the test. Points can be exchanged for rewards. For example, for every test a panelist completes they will be awarded 5 points. Once a panelist reaches 50 points, the points can be exchanged for a voucher.

If a panelist has not completed their sample set, they will not receive points when you set the test to "Complete".

  1. Stars : Help keep track of, or award, panelists who complete their sample sets (tests). Unlike points, stars cannot be redeemed. They are a record for the analyst to see which panelists consistently complete tests. For example, panelists that complete a test will receive 1 star.

If a panelist has not completed their sample set, they will not receive stars when you set the test to "Complete".

  1. Strikes : Help keep track of, or penalize, panelists who do not complete the test. They are a record for the analyst to see which panelists consistently do not complete tests. For example, panelists that do not complete a test will receive 1 strike. You may decide that once a panelist reaches 5 strikes they are no longer able to participate in tests (you pause them).

Use the Strikes with caution to avoid assigning them to panelists who legitimately could not attend the test.
