Tetrad Response Related Comment Question

Tetrad Response Related Comment Question

Overview

If you would like to ask panelists for their comments on the samples that they grouped together in a Tetrad test, the template Tetrad test type already comes set up with it! With this setup, the analysis will automatically separate the panelist comments into Correct and Incorrect tables.

If by some chance the Comment question was accidentally removed from your test, you can always set it up properly by following the steps in this workflow.

  1. In your Tetrad test's Build tab , add a Comment question.

You are able to drag and drop a question to the location of your choice when adding in a new question to your questionnaire.

You can also move your question after adding it by using the Move up and Move down arrows or by using the drag handles, as seen in the images below.

  2. In the Question options , set the following options:
    1. Answer required = Yes. This is optional, but if you are expecting panelists to comment without skipping the question, you have to set the option to Yes.

    2. Show question  = Tetrad response related. This selection will ensure that panelists are prompted with two Comment boxes, one for each group of two samples that panelists identified as similar. If this option is not set, the panelists will get four Comment boxes, one for each of the 4 samples.

    3. Show blinding code = Show. This is an important selection to help panelists know what they are commenting on. If this is set to Hide, they will just see the Comment boxes not knowing which box is for which group of two samples.

  3. Click Save .
